Schaff underscores victory for TAD soccer

Hat tricks are becoming a common theme at Brown-Childress Stadium these days. On Wednesday evening, Chris Schaff scored a four-goal hat trick for T.A. Dugger on the heels of a double hat trick recorded by Elizabethton High School’s Pedro Teixeira and Isaac Fife the previous night
Schaff’s goals provided all the points registered as the Junior Cyclones (4-0) remained unbeaten with a 4-0 victory over Vance Middle School.
“I think he has been right there, just missing that final finish,” said Jr. Cyclones head coach Andrew Stewart. “Today he was on it, and I said to my assistant before the game that if he gets one, he’ll get a bunch. When that first one went in you could see he got more confident.
