Six family members displaced by D Street fire
A family of six has been temporarily displaced following a Wednesday afternoon fire that caused extensive damage to an Elizabethton residence.
Tim Barbour, the owner, told Captain Jason Shaw of the Elizabethton Police Department that he left his residence with his 19-year-old son at 319 East D Street at 2:40 p.m. to pick up his children from school. Barbour returned to find the fire department at his home.
