Solution sought to drainage woes in Biltmore area

Members of the Carter County Highway Committee agree that to alleviate drainage and flooding issues in the Biltmore community, they need to look at the entire picture.

For the past year, the committee has heard concerns from Biltmore residents, such as Harvey Tester and William Harry Cable, who say drainage problems have caused flooding on their properties, resulting in damage. In past discussions, the committee has focused primarily on Taylor Avenue at Hartley Road and Taylor Avenue at Cunningham Street.
