Stage set for ‘Concert at the Hall’

The Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department hosts the first concert in summer series Concert at the Hall this Friday at 7 p.m.

The free concert will be held in the grassy lot across from City Hall and will feature bluegrass gospel group Pure River. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating during the concert.

“We are doing this because we want to do more in the community,” Parks and Recreation Director Mike Mains said. “We are happy with what we have come up with so far. We hope to be able to do more. We are thrilled that we are able to do more things in the community.”
