Strong aspirations for Milligan basketball team

By

Returning three of their top four scorers from last season, the Milligan College Buffaloes looked primed to make a run at the Appalachian Athletic Conference championship in 2013-14.

The Buffs are ranked second in the AAC preseason coaches poll, but second place is not what Milligan is aiming at this year.

Milligan fell to Tennessee-Wesleyan 85-83 in the AAC tournament semifinals last season and will look to get over that hump in the coming season, but the Buffs will have to first overcome the loss of post Tyler DeVault — who averaged 13.1 points a game as well as six rebounds.
