Students learn about environment

Fourth-grade students from across the county were given the opportunity to learn about different aspects of the environment during the Elizabethton/ Carter County Conservation Camp that was sponsored by the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce Keep Carter County Beautiful Environmental Committee.

The camp was open to all fourth grade students in the Carter County and Elizabethton City School systems and was held at the Elizabethton Boys and Girls Club. The camp was scheduled to be held at Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park but was relocated because of rain.
