T.A. Dugger students take controls

Several T.A. Dugger students found themselves “winging it” last week, but parents shouldn’t worry – the youngsters had things well under control.
Students in the Extended School Program at T.A. Dugger Junior High School tested their flight skills with a trip to the Elizabethton High School aviation simulator last week.
Dugger ESP Director Melanie Stapp said the 12 students in the program used the high school’s full-motion flight simulator and desktop computer simulators to practice what they had been learning about aviation during the after-school program.
