T.A. Dugger to hold Bean Supper

The annual T.A. Dugger Bean Supper will be held Friday, Sept. 28, at T.A. Dugger Junior High School in the cafeteria. Dinners are $4 and include soup beans, cornbread, coleslaw, onions, dessert and drink or corndog, chips, dessert and drink.

Dinners can be purchased to go or eat in. To-go orders can be made from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and eat-in purchases can be made from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. To-go orders can be picked up in the auditorium. The parking lot nearest the cafeteria will be reserved for eat-in customers only. The parking lot will reopen for football game parking one hour to one and a half hours before kick-off.

The bean dinner is T.A. Dugger’s biggest fundraiser. Last year, the dinner raised $12,000 for school and student needs. Items and projects that have been purchased or financed from bean dinner proceeds include sound equipment, SmartBoards, computers, library books, refinished floors and student calculators.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or from a TAD student.
