TAD chorus makes donation to animal shelter

Students at T.A. Dugger Junior High School chorus hosted a fundraiser concert to help provide a merrier Christmas for the animals at the Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter.

The fundraiser raised $73 and six boxes of pet food, cleaning supplies, treats and toys for the shelter. Music teacher and chorus director Amy Price said the students in chorus hosted the fundraiser during their Christmas concert Dec. 4. To attend the concert, individuals could give a monetary donation or donate pet food, supplies or other needs for the shelter.
