TAD girls advance to title game

KINGSPORT — One again the T.A. Dugger Lady Jr. Cyclones will have to go through Liberty Bell to bring home the hardware.

In what was a physical, low-scoring contest from the very first, the top-seeded Cyclones bested the four seed Unicoi 27-22 to advance to the final round of the TMSAA Area 1-AAA tournament at John Sevier Gynmnasium. There the Lady Cyclones will meet top-seeded conference tournament champion Liberty Bell for all the marbles.

The championship bout is set for Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
