Tonya Stevens will focus on increasing membership

Carter County native Tonya Stevens will step into her role as the new director of the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce Monday morning and already has a set of goals in place that she would like to see accomplished for the organization.

Stevens was selected to be the new director Wednesday morning after completing two rounds of the interview process with the Chamber’s hiring committee. She said she looks forward to getting out in the community to meet the different Chamber of Commerce members.
