Johnson County’s slap-happy defense against Sullivan East left its coaching staff in a “foul mood” on Thursday.
Coach Todd Whittemore’s was very unhappy with the 67-43 loss handed to his Lady Longhorns inside of Ray Shoun Gymnasium.
And he might have had plenty of reason to be upset in the early going.
The Lady Patriots shot 10 free throws in the first quarter and were in the bonus at the 5:02 mark. To make matters worse, three his starters were forced to the bench and the foul differential was 9-1.
