JOHNSON CITY — Adam Townsend is taking another step up the Mixed Martial Arts ladder.
Dustin Long is only beginning his professional journey.
The two Tuco O Tapa fighters hit the cage on April 6 for 3FC 16 at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge.
“I haven’t fought since January 5th, but it’s been a good training camp,” Townsend, from Hampton, said before working out on Wednesday at Precision Martial Arts. “It allowed me to get some rest, not diet my butt off and train my butt off the whole time. I got to take a few weeks off, just train a little bit here and there.
