With a star player on the sideline injured, Brandi Ensor continues to shine for Unaka’s girls.
The junior post erupted for 20 points and 15 rebounds on Monday night, leading the Lady Rangers to a 53-28 non-conference basketball romp over Tri-Cities Christian at Snavely Gymnasium.
“It was good for her to lead us around the rim early in the game,” Unaka coach Wes Wright said. “She took up the slack, without Alicia (Colbaugh) in the game. She kind of picked up the scoring slack. I thought she did well.”
Logan Carrier paced the rout with 14 points and four steals. He nailed a pair of 3-pointers.
The Rangers (9-8) also got 10 points and three steals from Spencer Nave. Billy Bales totaled nine points and 12 rebounds.
