Warriors fall behind early, never catch up

By Collin Brooks

JONESBOROUGH — It wasn’t the best of days for sophomore guard Patrick Good, but David Crocket was still able to defeat Happy Valley 71-47 on Tuesday night.

“Happy Valley came out and played with a lot of effort and energy,” David Crockett coach John Good said. “I just thought that we were unselfish with the basketball.”

The other sophomores that make up the young nucleus of Crockett, Dustin Day and Brendan Coleman, were able to help their classmate as they scored 18 points and 10 points, respectively.

“It’s good to know that we are able to do things with other people on the floor,” Good said. “Day is getting more confidence on each and every day out.”
