The Watauga Association of Genealogists will meet Dec. 4 at the Chester Inn in Jonesborough at 6 p.m.
Members will meet in the Annex (board room and kitchen) located behind the Inn. Those attending are asked to bring a hors d’oeurve to share with the group.
The group will be provided a group tour of the inn.
Built in the late 1790s,The Chester Inn, considered Jonesborough’s oldest frame structure, has hosted U.S. Presidents Andrew Jackson, James K. Polk and Andrew Johnson. Anyone interested in genealogy is welcome to attend.
