Megan Keri Bernard and Adam Daniel Monroe were united in marriage on Saturday, September 10, 2011, at 3 p.m. at White Point Gardens, Charleston, S.C. Rev. Richard M. Bennett performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Stanley M. Dennison and step-daughter of Alla Nikuradze of Jonesborough, and daughter of Lynne K. Dennison of Johnson City. She is the granddaughter of the late Marlin B. Dennison and Geraldine B. Dennison of Goshen, Ohio, and the late Michael Ferenz and the late Bertha Ferenz.
The groom is the son of Geddie Monroe and Linda Monroe of Elizabethton. He is the grandson of the late Dr. Daniel Geddie Monroe and the late Bette Monroe and the late James H. Cox and the late Shirley M. Cox.
Given in marriage by her son, Zane A. Bernard, the bride wore a beautiful white, one-strapped, knee-length wedding dress adorned with flowers.
She carried a bouquet of pink daisies, roses, carnations and lilies.
The ring bearer was Zane A. Bernard, son of the bride.
The couple are residing in Jonesborough.
