Brown – Stines


Brittney Michelle Brown and Gary Eugene Stines were united in marriage at Valley Forge Freewill Baptist Church on Monday, April 16, 2012, at 6 p.m. Pastor Randy Johnson officiated the exchange of vows.

The bride is the daughter of Ann and Jim Brown. She is the granddaughter of Pam and Richard Campbell and Peggy and Bob Brown.

The groom is the son of Judy Slagle and Tommy Stines. He is the grandson of Willene Slagle.

Music was provided by Travis Lunceford and vocalists were Megan Harsh and Loren Harris.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a designer gown of beautiful white bridal matte satin. The strapless gown was embellished with hand beaded sequins and miniature pearls on a fitted bodice that flowed into a full floor-length gown.

The bride wore a matching bridal veil that extended to the fingertip with glistening miniature diamond stones.

Her bouquet was an assortment of spring flowers.

Kayla Stines, friend and sister-in-law of the couple, attended as matron of honor. Kaitlin Campbell, cousin of the bride, attended as bridesmaid. Each wore a deep purple jersey tea-length gown featuring a V-neck, a slight high/low hemline and a diamond pendant on the side. They each carried a cluster of long-stemmed spring flowers.

Bryan Stines, brother of the groom, attended as best man. Eric Guy, friend and cousin of the groom, served as groomsman.

Beth Whitehead served as wedding director.

Following a reception in the church fellowship hall, the newlyweds departed for a trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

The couple resides in Elizabethton.
