Lori Ann Buckles and Gary “Bart” Dewayne Cadle were united in marriage during a candlelight ceremony at Carter Christian Church in Elizabethton on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at 6 p.m. Rev. Doug Hardin officiated the double-ring rites.
The bride is the daughter of Leonard and Peggy Buckles, 877 Willow Springs Road, Elizabethton.
The groom is the son of Jim Cadle of Bristol and Shirley Hall of Abingdon, Va.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Amy Price, pianist, and Bobby Smith, soloist.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a formal gown of white satin with a chiffon split front overlay and metallic embroidery. The gown boasted a chapel-length train.
For her headpiece, the bride chose a waist-length veil.
She carried a bouquet consisting of white roses and calla lilies.
Tammy Keller and Tracy Grindstaff, sisters of the bride, were matrons of honor.
Attending as junior bridesmaid was Lahkia Gudger, niece of the bride.
Lexi Keller, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
James Keller, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
Jim Cadle served his son as best man.
Ushers were Aaron Greene and Micah Hunt, nephew of the bride.
Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church fellowship hall.
After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple are residing in Bristol, Va.
