Fine – Childers

Brittany Leigh Fine and Justin Kenneth Childers were united in marriage on Saturday, September 24, 2011, at 6 p.m. at Watauga Lake. Rev. Sherrel Nave officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Connie Hart Fine of Elizabethton and the late John F. Fine Jr. She is the granddaughter of the late Norman and Mildred Hart and the late John Fine Sr. and Margie McQueen Fine.

The groom is the son of Kenneth and Lisa Childers and Allen and Lisa Richardson, all of Elizabethton. He is the grandson of Frank and Lula Childers and Shirley and Calvin Quesenberry, all of Elizabethton, and the late Zaney Taylor.

A program of nuptial music was provided by Emma Cole.

Given in marriage by Javy Taylor, the bride wore a fitted white strapless chiffon gown with chiffon and rhinestone roses.

She carried a bouquet of royal blue and white roses and Casablanca lilies.

Ashley Lynn Fine, attending her sister as maid of honor, wore a royal blue strapless dress.

Abbey Weaver served as bridesmaid. She was also attired in a royal blue strapless dress.

Flower girls were Kendra Grace Childers and Katlyn Weaver.

TJ Little was ring bearer.

Tony Nunley was best man with Tim Sams serving as groomsman.

Ushers were Curtis Grindstaff and John Thomas.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Watauga Lake.
