Wendy Marie Hyatt and Kenneth Raymond Kelly Jr. were united in marriage during a private ceremony at the Kelly Farm in Milligan on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 2 p.m. Pastor Ric Wright officiated the double-ring exchange of vows.
The bride is the daughter of Bobby Joe and Glenda Hyatt of Elizabethton. She is the granddaughter of the late Joseph Avery and Myrtle Willis and Bill Bartz of Elizabethton and the late June Bartz.
The groom is the son of Dr. Kenneth R. Kelly Sr. and Sussan Kelly of Milligan. He is the grandson of the late Dr. Dillard M. Sholes Jr. and Mattie Lou Sholes and the late Roy and Cora Kelly.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a slim Charmeuse gown in ivory with a delicately beaded sweetheart neckline, a cut-out beaded back and a chapel train.
She carried a hand tied bouquet of gerber daisies.
Reagan Maeve Kelly, daughter of the groom, was matron of honor. She was attired in a tea-length, two-tone pink gown. Her bouquet consisted of peach, yellow and pink gerber daisies.
Kenneth R. Kelly III “Max”, son of the groom, served as best man.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony in the Kelly home.
