Lindsay Nicole Robbins and Justin Drew Culver were united in marriage during a private ceremony on the beach at South Nags Head, N.C., on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. Matthew Culver, brother of the groom, officiated the double-ring exchange of vows.
The bride is the daughter of Ray Robbins of Powhatan, Va., and Cyndi Robbins of Richmond, Va. She is the granddaughter of James and Gwen Robbins of Gray, Ga., and the late James and Lillian Powers.
The groom is the son of Richard and Becky Culver of Elizabethton. He is the grandson of the late Joseph and Mary Vaught and the late Carl and Maude Culver.
Natural music consisted of waves along the shore.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a formal gown, handmade by Pleides bridal design. The all lace gown was accented with seed pearls and crystals enhanced by a blue satin sash and featuring a keyhole back.
She carried a bouquet of orange calla lilies.
Beth Kennedy and Brooke Rush were maids of honor. They were attired in orange sunset halter dresses of silk dupioni from Alfred Angelo.
Bridesmaids were Becky Robbins, sister-in-law of the bride, Carrie Coleman, sister of the groom, Kelley Rose, Amanda Lippa and Erin Bruce. They were attired identically to the honor attendants.
Jillian Robbins was the flower girl.
Richard Culver served his son as best man.
Groomsmen were Matt Strunk, Nathan Woods, Jason Deloney, Kevin Black, Michael Morrell and Derrick Robbins.
Ushers were Daniel Mancini and Ethan Rose.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at 108 Budleigh in Manteo, N.C.
After a honeymoon in the Outer Banks, N.C., the couple are residing in Mechanicsville, Va.
