Wild ride in stolen van ends with arrests; officer struck

A suspicious person call in Elizabethton’s East Side neighborhood on Saturday resulted in an officer on foot being struck by a stolen van, a near head-on collision with another officer, a high speed pursuit through town and a lengthy foot pursuit at the Elizabethton Municipal Airport.

In the end, officers arrested the van’s driver, Marlon Brando McKeage, 36, with an unknown address, and the passenger, Shawn Joseph Forqurean, 24, of Greeneville. Both individuals are currently incarcerated in the Carter County Jail on multiple charges.
