The club’s revised by-laws were unanimously passed. Tour of Homes schedules were distributed to the members. The Wendy Hyatt home on Jenkins Hollow Road and the Tom and Lynn Little home on Eagle Drive will be shown on Saturday, Oct. 8. A tea will be held at First United Methodist Church. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased from any club member or at either of the homes on the day of the tour.

Plans for the scheduled outing to Jonesborough on Oct. 3 were finalized. Those members and guests attending this event are asked to meet at the parking lot of First United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. to carpool to their destination.

Eight members confirmed their intent to attend the District 1 meeting in Erwin on Saturday, Sept. 17. They planned to deliver supplies for the animal shelter in Erwin as well as enter a number of arts and crafts into competition.

The club’s scrapbook for the previous year will be placed in the Elizabethton-Carter County Public Library.
